About Us
Cherry Creek Baseball
The 2024 Baseball season is here and Cherry Creek is ready to compete! Head Coach Marc Johnson, celebrating his 52nd season of coaching at Cherry Creek, is ready for the challenge and Cherry Creek tradition will be well served.
Cherry Creek baseball is a nationally recognized baseball program, with 27 league titles and 8 state championships. It has attained national recognition through the ability to compete at the highest level. Winning has always been a by-product of hard work and dedication of players and coaches. The continued success of the program requires commitment at every level. From players and coaches to families and the numerous parent volunteers and school support, it takes an entire community to help this program be successful. Our tradition of baseball excellence has developed national prestige and is one that all of us here at Cherry Creek can continue to build upon.
Over 250 former Cherry Creek players have gone on to play college baseball. Currently, former players are/have played Major League Baseball: David Aardsma (Yankees), Josh Bard (Dodgers), Luke Hochevar (Royals), Brad Lidge (Nationals), and Darnell McDonald (Red Sox). Even more of our players have left Creek and moved on to other paths in life, many staying in touch with their Creek Family.
